30 Day Solo Adventure Challenge

A Way To Explore Yourself & Embrace Your “Me Time”

Taking time for yourself is essential for personal growth, relaxation, and self-discovery. The “Solo Days” 30-day challenge is all about exploring the joys of being alone, doing things that excite you, help you relax, or spark your creativity. Whether you’re looking to recharge, develop a new skill, or simply enjoy your own company, this challenge will inspire you to embrace solitude and enjoy your own presence in a meaningful way.

Here’s a daily breakdown of creative ideas to make each solo day memorable and fun!

1. Set Your Intentions:

Before diving in, decide on what you hope to gain from these 30 solo days. Whether it's learning something new about yourself, practicing self-care, or simply learning to enjoy some quiet time, setting a personal goal can help you stay focused and inspired throughout the month. You can also extend this challenge and do something solo each week or weekend as opposed to everyday. We’re here to help craft experiences, how you do them, is up to you! You could aim to:

  • Try new hobbies.

  • Reflect and journal.

  • Explore new places solo.

  • Practice mindfulness or self-care.

2. Creative Solo Day Activities:

Week 1: “Self-Care & Reflection” Week

The first week focuses on taking care of your mental and physical well-being and enjoying some peaceful “me time.”

  • Day 1: Solo Café Date – Head to a local café, order your favorite drink, and enjoy it while people-watching or reading a book. Take a notebook or journal and jot down your thoughts or ideas.

  • Day 2: Bubble Bath and Mindfulness – Run yourself a relaxing bubble bath. Add essential oils, candles, and soft music. Practice mindfulness by focusing on the sensory experience (the feel of the water, the aroma, etc.).

  • Day 3: Create a Self-Care Routine – Develop a simple self-care routine for your evenings (skincare, tea, relaxing music, etc.). Enjoy it every day for the next week as a form of personal relaxation.

  • Day 4: Meditation in Nature – Spend 15-30 minutes meditating outdoors. Whether it’s a park, garden, or your backyard, let the natural surroundings guide your relaxation and mindfulness.

  • Day 5: Vision Board Creation – Collect magazines, print images, or find digital pictures that resonate with your goals or dreams. Create a vision board to help visualize where you want to go in life.

  • Day 6: Solo Movie Night – Pick a movie you’ve been wanting to watch but haven’t gotten around to. Make it a special solo movie night with your favorite snacks, comfy blankets, and no distractions.

3. Bonus Tips for Your Solo Days:

  • Journal Your Experiences: Keep a daily journal of your thoughts, feelings, and reflections. It’ll help you track your progress and deepen your experience.

  • Make it a Habit: If you enjoyed this 30-day challenge, try to incorporate solo time into your regular routine. Continue the habit of spending quality time by yourself even after the challenge ends. I have adapted something I like to call “Me Mondays” where I do all of the little things that I love to do without having to think about anybody else but me!

  • Document Your Journey: Share your solo adventures on social media using hashtags like #SoloDaysChallenge or #30DaysOfMeTime to inspire others to embrace their own solo journeys.
